The defining word is "can". It can be a sign, but not necessarily. Spontaneous, not forced, PDA is a good sign of a good relationship.

          They can be hiding true feelings OR it's a very new relationship and they do not know how to deal with quiet space.

                  1. NOW I do think there is a PDA to Wine, {drinking} on their show...Please enlighten me as to why Hoda and Kathie Lee have to "Drink" everyday on air. Seem to me, [a Mother] of a one time teenager/now grown man with a drinking problem, this is done in bad taste as a "News Program"... high-lighting drinking/alcohol on TV ALL the time. ???? Help this Mom understand why? Do you think it's right and are you sending a message to kids/adults with drinking problems, IT'S OK???? I just have a hard time watching your program because of it. I know what you are thinking, right now, "Don't watch"... that's a cop out. Face the question. Lets talk about it...go public.

                    Yes, trouble. Face to face is communication. Everything else is bunk. And Kathie Lee, just because you're a lush, you don't need to spread it around. Get yourself some help! Go to Alcoholics Anonymous...work the program.
