I loved the classic looks at the oscars. I wept with Octiva Spencer, that's what you like to see at the Oscar's, somebody that really appreciates the award. That's what I liked about the movie "The Help". It was so real. I think alot of people especially from the south don't want to face the fact they way they treated people. The old saying goes truth hurts.

They need to let you all be the Master of Ceremonies. That would be fun. I agree with Kathy they need to do a foreign program just for them.

They need to have a foreign awards show.

I agree with KLG...what Cohen did was totally inappropriate. What a loser!!

I've always been a big fan of KLG and Hoda..I have faithfully watched the today show for years...however...I was absolutely shocked this morning when they both said that they were disappointed with the Oscars, and went so far as to say that those artists who eat sleep and breathe the movies, through cinematography, or by making the music, or editing film, or designing sets, etc. should not be shown on the program each year. The people behind the scenes are what makes these movies so fantastic, and their work is extremely thankless. You do not hear about them the other 364 days a year, like you do the actors, and yet the ONE night where they can be appreciated for their hard work, you think should be taken away so that the celebrities can get even more face time. The Academy Awards are meant to recognize the work of artists, not please people at home who had no hand in making the art happen. For you to even suggest that those behind the art don't deserve to be displayed on this night, simply because people at home like you want the show to be tailored to your liking, is a slap in the face to those who work so hard to make the celebrities look so good. Shame on you both!!

The Circus Oley part had nothing to do with the awards, the speeches were long and on paper. Movies have regressed to "Black & Whites". Maybe they are re-inventing movies. It probably should be called the Foreign Oscar awards. Probably wont watch it next year.

I guess I am just frustrated at how much attention the stars get. Yes I like movies, but most of the stars are famous because of their scandalous behavior and every award show for movies or music has some stupid stunt to get attention and notoriety. I don't get it. I just wish the ladies would start eating again and put some clothes on. Kudos to Emma Stone for not looking like a tramp! and shame on everyone saying she was too covered and should have shown more skin and have a form fitting dress!

Kathie Lee interrupts Hoda toooo much. Doesn't let her finish a sentence. Sick of it. Without the behind the scenes staff movies would not get made. Enjoyed the awards. Wished Glen Close had won. About time for her.

I thought it was amazing...the red carpet was fantastic..i think Kathy lee is a little grump grump this morning it was wonderful.

My Mom who passed away in 2008 always watched the Oscars and so do I. The gowns are just beautiful and lets you escape into another world, just like the movies do. I also agree that Angelina Jolie needs to eat a little more if she wants to continue to be a role model for young women. I have been tuning in to Kathy Lee and Hoda since my retirement. It is just so much fun!

For KLG and Hoda to make fun of Angelina Jolie, was unkind, shallow, and most of all catty. This is what men always expect women to do and there always seems to be a mean girl willing to do it. Since this is the kind of women they want to be, someone should tell KLG, on Monday when she stood up to make fun of the way Angelina posed, her gut looked like she was five months pregnant!
