Unless I'm in really good company, I would always rather be alone in the restaurant. And it is the best way to actually enjoy the food, as you can focus only on that. And I'm a very company for myself :)
Hello, I am a very attractive woman who enjoys dinning alone. Does this mean I am weird or lonley ?? No, I am neither of these things. I was very surprised to hear Hoda say she thinks it is weird for a woman to eat alone. Hoda,... you of all people should know that women have to do many things alone and dinning is one of them. I also go to movies ALONE, grocery shop ALONE go to the mall ALONE and go to the beach alone. All by choice. So why should I be labeled as weird if I chose to dine ALONE ?? I am shocked that Hoda would feel this way. I am but a girl who dines alone.
am also disapointed to hear you say "we all love it" re: men opening doors, standing back to let women go first, etc. I don't. I find gender-defined social behaviors annoying. How about whomever is there first, opens the door, or exits the elevator, etc. Let's get real, please.
I am very disappointed in this segment. i think your "Today" opinion is only for NY, NY.
(HOPE I'M COMMENTING ON THE RIGHT SEGMENT; THERE WERE A FEW I DISAGREED WITH.)
It's not a big deal to dine alone; i'd prefer to go to a fine restaurant if I feeling like dining. What's the big deal? why did (whoever filled in w/ Cathy Lee Gifford) differ? Because he's a man or just insecure or because he's in NY where the tables/seats have no privacy?
I eat to live. We live in a nation of rabid obesity because our culture views eating as a social event. I eat alone a lot and when dating would prefer to do something other than eating....
